Superior Broom Offers Two New Models![]() Superior Broom's two newest models are getting a lot of attention – the SM74 front-mount model and the best-in-class DT74 mid-mount broom model are both proving to be very popular with contractors and governmental customers, based on their unique designs, versatility and in-demand features.SB Manufacturing – May 2021
![]() Founded in 2002, SB Manufacturing specializes in designing and building self-propelled sweepers under its Superior Broom brand name. Superior Broom sweepers are used for maintenance cleaning of roadways and for cleanup purposes after chip-seal, slurry-seal and concrete paving projects are complete. The Superior Broom SM74 and DT74 model sweepers have many features not found on any other side-cast sweepers. Both offer a proprietary, smart hydraulic system and an electronic manifold that delivers power where and when it's needed. This combination provides for optimum operator control and productivity. The manifold is mounted remotely and controlled with an electronic joystick in order to keep hydraulic heat and noise outside the cab, ensuring greater operator comfort.
Both new models are the only side-cast sweepers in the industry that come equipped with a CAT® engine. Therefore, both machines are ideal additions for CAT® equipment fleets. The hydraulically- driven SM74 and DT74 models are equipped with the CAT® C3.4 (208cid) 74hp, turbo-charged, Tier 4 Final engine.
The global CAT® dealer network also provides added value for customers by supplying accessible, unparalleled parts and service, including 24/7 online parts ordering access. We invite you to check out the specs of the Model SM74 and/or the DT74 machine. For more information on SB Manufacturing, go to the company's website at www.superiorbroom.com.
