I'm sure this person is not seeing this post any longer. D/t the O.P. was in 2010. But a tip: Trucking companies these days are very big on employing the technology. So that they can track where their trucks are, whether-or-not their drivers were speeding, whether or not their drivers were taking their requisite breaks, etc....

So if you talk to any trucking Co, they'll probably have the latest-greatest bead on the available technologies being used.
