need advice

Post by pollosan86 » Thu Dec 17, 2009 6:35 am

Hi, i been working with tennant 6550 and 830 ii sweeper almost 5 years at the cement plant, right now we must to buy a bigger sweeper because we also clean at the port coke for the energy plant it is very hard to keep it clean. From plant to port 260 Km.
I been thinking if i am investing in a bigger sweeper, it must do the job for both products.
Need the advice for the right sweeper , Tymco, Nite-Hawk, Schwarze, etc.

It depends on alot of factors. Such as.

How much money do you want to invest?
How much dust do you need to keep down?
What kind of weather do you have?
How clean do you need it?
How much time do you want to do it in?
How much maintance do you want to do? Or have a shop do?
How much noise can you make?

There are so many different options and other things to look at.
Almost any truck will do the work. It also depends on other factors that you need to look at.
If you really want to know what the trucks can or can not do, talk to the mechanics or the tech people.
The salesman just wants the sale. If you want to ask me questions about different trucks, or factors, then ask away.
I think my e-mail is in my profile. Other wise ask here. I try to log on once a week, but right now is my busy time.
I will try to answer what I can.

Good Luck
