REQUEST FOR BIDS (BID No. 06-007)
STREET SWEEPING SERVICES
The City of Spokane Valley, Washington seeks qualified firms to submit bids for street sweeping all City streets in accordance with the Request for Bids now available at the Public Works office of the City of Spokane Valley. The City has approximately 425 centerline miles of road. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process.
The City of Spokane Valley, Washington will receive sealed bids through March 23, 2006, until 2:00 p.m. at which time they will be opened in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 11707 East Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a cashier’s or certified check, or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory Performance Bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit or bond shall be forfeited to the City and the contract awarded to the next lowest or best bidder.
Bidding documents may be purchased in person or by mailing $25.00 (non-refundable) check or cashiers' check payable to the City of Spokane Valley, ATTN: Carolyn George, Public Works, City of Spokane Valley, 11707 East Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley, Washington, 99206. Informational copies are available for review at the same address.
All prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-proposal conference. The conference will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Spokane Valley City Hall, 11707 East Sprague, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
