I have a 800 tennant sweeper serial # 6198 starts good and idles good, but when I pull the throttle back its has no power doesn't want to rev up. I changed the fuel filter and that didn't help.any suggestions would be welcomed.

Re: 800 tennant
Do you have a parts manual? if not one can be downloaded here. http://www.floor-equipment-parts.com/Te ... 00plus.pdf If there is no change when applying power not even an attempt for the motor to rev up then I would Check page 2-76 item#16 see if it is getting voltage when you apply power. If there is any change in sound or an attempt to rev then I would check for blockage in air flow between the air filter and muffler.
It is hard to trouble shoot not having hands on not even ever seen one of these.

Thanks for the reply Dwan I checked out the page and part but thats for LPG and mine is a diesel. I failed to mention that ,also i did change the air filters and muffer is not stopped up. should the electric fuel pump come on a soon as the key is turned on? I don't hear it running. Thanks again ,GottiDwan wrote:Do you have a parts manual? if not one can be downloaded here. http://www.floor-equipment-parts.com/Te ... 00plus.pdf If there is no change when applying power not even an attempt for the motor to rev up then I would Check page 2-76 item#16 see if it is getting voltage when you apply power.
