99 Pelican Series P Conveyor

Postby jim9996 » Fri Nov 15, 2013 12:00 pm

hi i was wondering if anyone would help. I have a Elgin Pelican Series P conveyor belt that when on in the forward position run for maybe a minute or two and then stops. i heard a clicking sound near the switch on the panel and thought maybe it was it. i changed the switch and it still does the same thing. Now while in reverse i can hold it as long as i like and it never stops running...only in the forward position. also there are like 5 or 6 small relays plugged it that same area. so i switched them around since they are all the same and still no fix. Anyone have any idea what might be causeing this?

thank you

That might be due to dust. Have you tried it to clean once. I feel that cleaning will definitely help you. Just try it.
