Looking for farm sweeper/vacuum

Postby stanwyck » Mon Oct 02, 2006 6:17 pm

Looking for recommendations on a vacuum that will handle goat, llama, and alpaca pellets, hay scraps, etc. Shreader not required but not prohibited either.

Prefer vacuum that can be pulled through the pasture and will pick up the pellet piles without gumming up the internals of the vacuum system.

Have you ever seen the T-500 from Victory Sweepers? It is a tow behind model sweeper that uses flaps that spin at about 700 rpms. It can be adjusted to where it doesn't tear up grass or to where its scraping the ground. This thing is so powerful it will even pick up a brick or pieces of a pallet.

There are lots of machines available in many stores. But the best location to find is in online stores. They will absolutely help you of what kind of farm sweeper fits to you.

I think that post you were replying too, is someone who is simply fishing for people to click on his links. Which will invariably have nothing to do with sweepers . Eg.: just Nike shoe ads, or some such bunk.

What sweeper types are you wanting to buy ? Your goals, etc.... I'll point you to various vendor/manufacturers, and/or used-sweeper listings links. But first let us know your objectives and type sweeping .
