When there are cars on the streets during sweeping, the result is that much less of the curbline gets swept. Without parking control regulations in effect, sweepers obviously can't sweep where the cars are parked. Less obvious is the area in front and back of a car that is missed, as well, because it takes space to get the sweeper back to the curbline.
In this time of sweeping for stormwater runoff pollution management, should moving cars on sweep days be required, at least in all EPA non-compliance areas?
Are parking controls needed for best practices sweeping?

The Street Sweeping Program also gets improved the cleanliness and aesthetics of City streets and parking lots all over the City.
