2005 Broom Bear, DPF compliant. Low miles/low hours

2005 Elgin Broom Bear on Freightliner Chassis. 24,832 miles. 2,757 hours.

This sweeper has come straight from municipal usage (not private sector usage). Brand new California DPF device: "ESW Therma-Cat" just installed.

Since we bought it, we've used it less than 300 hrs. Mostly just testing it out, for purposes of going over it with a fine-tooth comb, to get it sweeping top-notch adjusted. Eg.: to eliminate any stripes, address any issues, learn its use, etc... Thus the mechanicals have been gone over top to bottom. But we have not painted it. Floors, flights, chains are ~ 2/3 life. Brand new sprockets. Brand new elevator bearings all-around. Entire main-broom assembly rebuilt (pins, bushings, bearings, etc...). Brand new shock absorbers for main broom. Almost new main broom on there now.

We have decided to stay with Mobil brand sweepers, rather than have 1 mis-match in our fleet. It has just come from the DPF installation, with no usage since then.

$140,000.00 OBO. FOB Salinas, CA. Shipping negotiable .
