rough idea how to bid

Postby drmiller100 » Mon May 01, 2006 6:31 pm

I live in a small mountain resort town in the middle of nowhere.

No one in town is currently doing parking lots at all. Locally there is a rider tenant warehouse sweeper available for 5k or so. A local person used to do parking lots with it, but no longer.

So how much is 'fair' to charge?

my labor costs will be something near 25 an hour. I was thinking of charging 75 an hour, meaning the grocery stores will be spending 200 a week or so on me.
Is this typical?
It is a mountain town, and folks are used to spening large dollars on snow removal and sand applications.

thanks for ideas,
