When I had mine and it did like you reported it was the conveyer not lifting the dirt. the broom worked but to much dirt piled up in front of it sliding under the main broom. Lift the hopper and run the broom to see if the conveyer is running. Very little d...

Re: Do any of you get requests for "vacuum brooms" ?

We do the same thing here. Sometimes finding the machanical broom does a good enough job they don't want an air sweeper or think they need it. We find the machanical brooms (Mobil or Pelican) work great for heavy cleanup and the vacume (Elgin aircub or Victory MarkII ) work best for maintaining area...

Re: Pricing Help

See if you can figure out how many hours it would take to sweep the total area you will be doing under contract. That along with the type of material you would be picking up will help you i determine what type of sweeper you need to do the job. Quarterly sweeping times 4 for a yearly total of hours....

What you are asking would take a book to answer without knowing your situation, location etc. If you would like to give me a call @ 907-789-3725 Alaska time I would be willing to spend some time on the phone with you and try to answer any questions you may have. I do not sell any brands so there wou...

Re: Athey Mobils demise :(

I like your reasoning there Tom. I don't expect the Mobils to just fade away just yet as there are several places still making parts for them. As long as there are parts that one can't make them self I feel they will be around for another decade or two. I know I have 2 of them with 1 in very fine sh...
