Like the jets used to dry NASCAR tracks after a rain. I would like to try one to melt snow but the fuel would be a killer. Here we don;t try to melt the snow/ice we just dump tons of sand on it till spring, that gives me something to do in the spring then summer I get to repaint line that were scrap...

Is there any dirt getting into the hopper? When I had mine and it did like you reported it was the conveyer not lifting the dirt. the broom worked but to much dirt piled up in front of it sliding under the main broom. We do the same thing here. Sometimes finding the machanical broom does a good enough job they don't want an air sweeper or think they need it. We find the machanical brooms (Mobil or Pelican) work great for heavy cleanup and the vacume (Elgin aircub or Victory MarkII ) work best for maintaining area...
